Kilis Folk Songs and Dances

The folkloric songs of Kilis describe the romances and heroism of the past. Kilis is the starting point for folk songs such as Lingo Lingo Şişeler and Süt İçtim Dilim Yandı. In addition, many different folk dances are performed in Kilis; the best known of these are the Leylim, Ağırlama and Serçe dances.
